Precautions
■ If you are using Mio 30 for the first time,
do the first set-up in the presence of
your healthcare professional.
■ Check your blood glucose level 1 to
3 hours after insertion to ensure correct
insertion and flow.
■ Check the infusion site several times
a day.
■ If the tape is curled, do not attempt to
straighten it. Simply leave it that way
or replace it with a new infusion set.
Stretching or pulling on the tape may
affect the cannula under your skin.
■ Disconnect the tubing with caution
because a hard pull on the tubing
can result in damage to the infusion
set. Ensure that the infusion set is
properly in place when the tubing is fully
disconnected.
