3.2 The tripod leg consists of 4 segments and three of them can be extended smoothly. Therefore open the leg lock
system by turning it counter clockwise with a 1/4 rotation. Then you can extend or retract the legs. If the desired
length of each segment is achieved lock the mechanism again by turning it clockwise until it is not able to turn
around any further.
3.3 Underneath the rubber feet you will find the integrated spikes. These spikes can be used in areas with soil, mud
and so on where you need a better grip for the tripod. To use the spikes just pull off the rubber feet. In the
unlikely event that you lose the rubber feet you will find 3 extra rubber feet inside the packaging. In the unlikely
event that the spikes get loose please use the wrench to tighten them again.
5. Maintenance
• If necessary, please use the soft towel with moderate detergent to clean the locking system and the gliding parts.

2. Functions of the Base Plate
2.1 The screw of the base plate can be inserted in two
directions, one side with 3/8 inch screw and 1/4
inch screw on the other side. Choose the side of
the screw which is needed for your equipment.
2.2 To prevent that the base plate will accidentally
screw off, please lock the plate with the help of
the screw indicated by the picture. Like this the
base plate is firmly fixed onto the tripod.
2.3 We recommend that you also lock the tripod
head* onto the base plate. Therefore screw the
anti-rotating screw from below the base plate in
the direction of the head. Then the tripod head
is firmly attached to the plate and cannot acci-
dentally be screwed off.
*Tripod head not included into the packaging.

4.1 The height of the center column can be adjusted.
Therefore turn the center column adjustment
knob counter clockwise and pull up and down

4.2 At the bottom of the center column there is a
hook. This hook can be used to attach sand bag or
backpacks for more stability.
4.3 If you want to use the tripod near the ground
at its lowest position, you need to take out the
center column. Therefore please unscrew the hook.
Then open the center column adjustment knob,
