PARKADO 3040 is an appliance that is used in order to protect and secure private spaces and parking. It is made of
galvanized steel Ø33mm and Ø42mm pipe. Βy means of joints located on the bases, it can be manually locked in
vertical or horizontal position using a padlock, allowing the exclusive passage only to authorized users.
Installation instructions
Tools
You should read this manual before you start installing the
system, so you don't have to rush to finish the work. Make sure
you have all the tools and materials needed to install the system
(safety glasses, hammer drill 8mm, hammer and fork spanner
13mm) - fig 1; make sure that they are in good condition and
serviceable according to current safety standards.
Packing
First, check whether the packing is intact. In opposite case,
please contact the purchasing shop. In the packing you will find
the barrier, the telescopic leg, a padlock, keys and the fixing
materials (i.e. concrete screws Ø10.5X110mm and caps for
screws) - fig 2.
Preparation
Assemble the telescopic leg. Place the barrier to its final position
and lock the padlock - fig 3.
Use
If you want to prevent passage, lift the PARKADO in the vertical position and lock the padlock. - fig 12.
If you want to allow access: remove the padlock and push the PARKADO down gently, putting it horizontally on the floor - fig 12.
In this position, you can lock the barrier with the padlock.
Warnings
Make sure that the installation and use of the product are in compliance with the current local legislation.
Do not use PARKADO for other applications than those described above or under different conditions from those specified
in this manual.
Do not leave PARKADO in horizontal position without suitable signs, in order to avoid accidents.
Do not run over PARKADO with the car wheels
Do not allow children to play with PARKADO.
In case that PARKADO is ice-coated, do not touch it with bare hands.
Warranty
This product is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase.
This warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture, parts or
workmanship during the Warranty Period. The warranty is not in valid in the following cases:
Different use from the one that is described in the present handbook.
Abuse, mishandling, accident or failure to follow operating instructions
Damages due to crashes by going through vehicles.
Damages due to natural destructions and vandalisms.
Normal wear and tear.
Damages caused by tires of going through cars.
Exposure to corrosive environment.
The maximum recognized compensation that is included in this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.
The manufacturer maintains the right of modifications and improvements of the product without previous notice.

Marking
Mark the 6 drilling points. Make sure that the installation
place is flat enough and suitable for safe fixing - fig 4.
Drilling
Drill the holes in the ground using a hammer drill with an
8mm bit - fig 5.
Fixing
Place the telescopic leg and screw the back-inside screw -
fig 6.
Place the barrier and screw the screws using a fork spanner
of 13mm - fig 7, 8.
During the tightening of the screws make sure that the
rotation of the barrier is being carried out without difficulty -
fig 9.
Protection of the screws
Place the caps for screws (one on each base) and hit them
with a hammer - fig 10, 11.
