Install the smoke detector as follows:
1. See gures 7 & 8 for the correct position.
2. Use the included screws to attach the mounting place to
the ceiling.
3. Carefully twist the smoke detector on the mounting plate.
4. Use the test button to check whether the smoke detector
has been installed correctly.

Functies:
Stand-by: the red LED-indicator blinks every 344 seconds.
This means that the device is functioning normally.
Alarm: the red LED-indicator blinks constantly and a
constant beep sounds simultaneously. This means that the
smoke detector has detected smoke.
Test: the smoke detector can be tested when it is in
stand-by mode. Press the button until the LED-indicator
starts blinking. A beep will sound at the same time. Release
the button to end the test. The smoke detector is in the
quiet/pause mode for the next 9 minutes. Repeat the above
steps to disable the pause mode.
Empty battery / lifespan: the smoke detector beeps every
43 seconds. You should replace the smoke detector upon
this noti cation.
Usage:
Press the test button on the smoke alarm until the alarm
signal sounds. Test the smoke alarm once a week, after a
period of absence, after cleaning the smoke alarm and test it
everytime its battery is replaced. The smoke alarm must be

regularly vacuumed to remove any dust particles and ensure
optimal working condition.
