Classification
The HEROfill Oven is a Class I medical device, in compliance with MDD (Medical Devices Directive
®
93/42/EEC) Section IX.
The heater must only be used in dental clinics by dental personnel, and only for heating the HEROfill
Obturator. The product is classified according to DS EN 61010-1-2010 and thereforemust not be
used within reach of patients.
The HEROfill Oven has a heat chamber that consists of 5 printed circuit boards with copper lanes. By

applying power to the copper lanes heat is generated.
The oven is driven by an external power supply.
Warning
Do not touch the inside of the heat chamber before the oven is completely cooled.
The Heater must be used for its intended purpose and is protected from overheating by two
independent circuits.

Preheating of the heater takes 3-4 minutes depending on surrounding temperature.
1. Start using the heater
1. Connect the power supply to the DC inlet of the heater and the mains and switch on power (B1).
2. Indicator A emits a red light while the
ready, the indicator emits a green light, and you will hear a beep.
Notice: The HEROfill Oven can be left on the entire day.
