7 TALLY switch
Adjusts the brightness of the front tally lamp.
HIGH : M akes the front tally lamp brighter.
OFF : Turns the tally lamp off.
LOW : Makes the front tally lamp dimmer.
8 Microphone holder
Enables an optional microphone to be attached. (Page E-17)
9 Front tally lamp
Lights when the camera is shooting and the TALLY switch is set to HIGH or LOW.
Also, blinks while a warning is given.
The brightness of the front tally lamp is controlled by the setting of the TALLY switch (HIGH or LOW).
Connecting cable
Connected to the VF connector on the camera.
Slide stopper
Prevents the viewfinder from becoming detached from the camera when it is attached and slid to the
left or right.
Slide rail
Slide rail for installing to the camera unit.
Eye cup
(Accessory) Installed on the viewfinder itself.
Diopter adjuster ring
Adjusts the diopter when this ring is rotated so that the image is seen at its clearest.
Eyepiece unit
Viewfinder barrel unit
Can be flipped up or rotated depending on how the camera is to be used.
Viewfinder barrel unit release lever
Releases the lock, causing the viewfinder barrel unit to flip up.
