CHARGING THE UNIT

• The unit is cordless and requires a full 16-hour charge before initial
use. After the unit is fully charged it can provide up to 35 minutes of
use without recharging.
• Plug the power adapter into a suitable power point and connect to
the back of the charging base. Place the unit into the charging base.
• The charging indicator under the speed settings will illuminate RED
during charging. Once fully charged, the light will illuminate GREEN.
Always check to ensure the charging light illuminates when you place
the unit in the charging base.
• The RED light will start flashing when the unit reaches low battery
capacity during operation and will give 6 consecutive beeps.
• The adapter may become warm while charging; this is normal.
• In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable
batteries, the unit should be given a full 16-hour continuous charge
every 3 months.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• After each use, wipe the unit with a damp cloth to remove buildup of
any oils or cleansers.
• Once a week unplug the power lead and using a damp cloth wipe
clean the charger base to prevent buildup of oils and cleansers. The
charging contacts on the charging base and unit must be clean for the
unit to charge properly. Ensure the unit is thoroughly dry before use.
• Only use a soft detergent for cleaning the unit and charging base.
• After each use, remove brush heads from the unit and rinse with
warm soapy water to remove residue accumulated during use. Allow
brush heads to air dry.
• Once the brush heads have been removed from the unit, use the
protective covers to prevent the bristles becoming deformed or
splaying.
• It is recommended to replace the brush head attachments every
90 days, as the bristles wear over time and lose effectiveness.
