Trouble shooting
A running time control is integrated into the control electronics to
protect the motor and mechanism. If the deck is turning too slowly
or is jammed, the operation is automatically interrupted. First the
cause of the problem must be corrected (example: derailed loco-
motive, foreign object). After that operation can be resumed by
pressing the clear button.
If due to external influences (example: adjusting the deck by hand,
accidentally turning off the main power to the layout) the positions
for the deck no longer correspond to the button numbers that are
assigned to them, then the positioning for the deck must be cor-
rected. The digital layout must be turned off and on for this, and
the stored position 1 must be called up immediately by pressing
the input button. If the deck is still not at the desired position 1,
then it must be turned accordingly by pressing the step buttons
> or <. The correction is stored in memory by pressing the end but-
ton. Under no circumstances should the clear button be pressed
during this procedure, as it will delete all of the spoke tracks from
memory storage.
Maintenance and Service
Position 1 of the turntable deck should be checked (see trouble
shooting) after each time that it is removed from the turntable and
after beeing installed back into the turntable.
Important note: The motor and gearbox have been adequately
lubricated at the factory. Please do not oil! This could cause da-
mage!
