Handling The Remota Controlle

description of how to use your air conditioner.
SPECIAL NOTE
• Button designs on your uni! may differ
slightly from lhe example shown.
• lf the indoor uni! does not have a particular
function, pressing that function's button on
lhe remate contrai will have no effect.
INSERTING AND REPLACING BATTERIES
Your air conditioning uni! comes with two
AAA batteries. Put lhe batteries in lhe
remate contrai before use:
1. Remove lhe back cover from lhe remate
contrai, exposing lhe battery compartment.
2. Inseri lhe batteries, paying attention to
match up lhe ( +) and (-) ends of lhe
batteries with lhe symbols inside the
battery compartment.
3. lnstall lhe back cover on.
INSTALLING REMOTE CONTROL HOLDER
The remate controller can be attached to a wall
ar stand by using a remate controller holder
(optional pari, not supplied wilh the uni!).
1. Before installing lhe remate controller, check
that lhe air conditioner receives lhe signals
properly.
2. lnstall lhe holder with two screws.
3. Put lhe remate controller in lhe holder.

BATTERY NOTES
For optimum product performance:
• Do not mix old and new batteries, ar
batteries of different types.
• Do not leave batteries in lhe remate contrai
if you don'I plan on using lhe device for
more than 2 months.

BATTERY DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of batteries as unsorted
municipal waste. Refer to local laws for
proper disposal of batteries.
TIPS FOR USING REMOTE CONTROL
• The remate contrai must be used within 8
meters of lhe uni!.
• The uni! will beep when remate signal is
received.
• Curtains, other materiais and direct
sunlight can interfere with lhe infrared
signal receiver.
• Remove batleries if lhe remate contrai
will not be used more than 2 months.
• Preveni any liquid from falling into lhe
remate controller. Do not expose lhe
remate controller to direct sunlight ar
heat.
Remove lhe back cover
to install batteries
Put lhe remate controller
in lhe holder.
