FUNCTION FOR THE KEYS
ON/OFF/SET
Turn on/off and date preset.
- When press the key normally (less than 2 seconds) the power is turned on/off.
a) Turn-off automatically
After the measuring spindle deeps stable more than 30 minutes (the moving speed is
less than 0,2mm/h) the micrometer is in the sleeping mode, i.c. the LCD´s displaying
disappears. The micrometer can be turned on by rotating the measuring spindle
or by pressing the ON-OFF key with the data unchanged. Note: The micrometer
can not be turned off automatically when it is connected to the computer special
interface to transmit the data.
b) Turn-off manually.
Press the ON-OFF key less than 2 seconds, the micrometer in turned off completely.
Then press the ON-OFF key less than 2 seconds, the micrometer enters the measuring
mode.
DATA OUTPUT
By a special interface the digital micrometer can be connected to the computer to
transmit the data, so the the computer deals with and saves the data.
NOTES
a) The battery should be taken out if no used for a long time.
b) Digit display flashing or no display replace new battery in time.
c) Prior to use it, the origin value setting should be checked, or the wrong setting
will affect the mesuring result.
d) The thimble should not be turned out from the fixed pipe to prevent the
componets inside being jammed.
