IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VIDEO USE!
The RMD574BT is equipped with a 7" screen and
can play films/video's in MPEG1/MPEG2/MPEG4/
DivX/WMA formats from an USB stick or SD card.
But please note that it's not allowed to watch films/
video's during driving. To prevent this, the "parking
brake"-wire (green wire) must be connected to the
handbrake sensor. As a result, the display will only
be activated when the handbrake of the vehicle is
engaged.
It's possible to connect a 2
OUT" on the RMD, which e.g. is for the passengers
in the back seat and we can imagine you want them
to be able to watch video while you're driving.
In that case the "Video OUT" on the RMD has to be
activated. To do that, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the second screen as explained in the
manual of the screen itself
2. Go to "video mode" on the RMD and start playing
a video (from USB or SD).
3. Press the power button once* and a menu will
appear on-screen. In this menu you can select to
activate the "Video OUT".
*in "radio mode" the power button is to turn the screen ON/OFF.
