Create arrays of two to six speakers when used with the S-077K1
/ S-077K2 and S-077C1 / S-077C2 installation bracket. Two
mounting angles are possible: 50 degrees and 60 degrees.
Choose mounting angles for right horizontal directivity.
1. Speakers side by side (50 degrees angle) for a tight array.
2. Speakers spread slightly (60 degrees angle) for wider
coverage. Note a full 360 degrees array can only be
accomplished with the 60 degrees angle pattern.
Suspension of the speaker array is made easy with the four
12,7 mm holes located on the fan-shaped bracket in kit S-077C1 /
S-077C2.
A cable chain quick link, or other suitable hardware which is rated for overhead
lifting (not supplied with this kit) can be used to connect the array for
flying.).
Assembling Horizontal Array
1. Refer to figures for the following steps.
2. Place one fan-shaped bracket (S-077C1 / S-077C2) on the top of two of
U-shaped brackets (S-077K1 / S-077K2).
Note: For arrays consisting of three or more than three speakers,
alternate fan-shaped brackets: place the second fan-shaped bracket on
top of the first one, place the third on the bottom of the second,
alternate the fan-shaped brackets one top, one bottom, one top, etc.
3. Insert tour of the 6/12 bolts into the proper holes, following the pattern
previously selected (step 1).
4. Place the lock washer and then put the nut on one of the bolts. Tighten
the nut until the lock washer is compressed.
5. Flop the array over and repeat steps 2-4.
6. Install the speakers into the U-shaped brackets and tighten. M8
bolts to fix the speakers.
Suspending the Array
1. Locate the tour 12,7 mm holes on the fan-shaped bracket. These
are used as attachment points for suspending the system DK-
1202 / DK-1502 array. Suspending an array of two speakers
requires three attachment points. Arrays which contain more than
two speakers require at last two attachment points per bracket.
Note: The attachment points are rated for a maximum of two levels of
speaker arrays. Exceeding the attachment point safety rating can
result in system failure and injury.
