Disposal and recycling of packaging
The device is provided in a package to avoid damages during transport. This pack-
age is made of raw materials and hence can be reused or recycled.
Transport
Attention!! Do not throw away the packaging, including the transport safeguard!
Devices with lithium-ion batteries must be specially packed for transport by road, air
or sea and marked in accordance with the relevant regulations. In the event of
transport or shipping, always use the original packaging for the device as this com-
plies with the relevant regulations.
In this context, please note that the capacity of the lithium-ion battery of this device
exceeds 100 Wh.
If you need to return the device, please contact our service department beforehand.
Disposal and recycling of packaging
The device is in packaging designed to prevent transport damage. This packaging is
raw material and can therefore be reused. However, since special transport regula-
tions apply to devices with lithium-ion batteries, the original packaging should be re-
tained throughout the entire service life of the device, for possible transport or ship-
ping. After that it can be returned to the raw material cycle.
Disposal of the device
If the device must be disposed of, please ensure that it is completely discharged.
Lithium-ion batteries are hazardous waste and are marked with the crossed-out
wheeled bin symbol. The symbol indicates to end users that batteries should not be
disposed of with household waste, but should be collected separately. Used batteries
can be returned free of charge to the point of sale, the recycling centre or the retail-
er's disposal system.
To prevent short circuits and the associated heating, lithium-ion batteries must never
be stored or transported unprotected in bulk. Appropriate measures must be taken to
prevent short circuits.
For EC countries only
Please do not dispose of electrical appliances in the regular domestic
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU regarding waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment and the implementation of that directive
into national law, electrical devices have to be collected separately and
disposed of in an environmental-suitable manner after the end of their
life cycle. Should you have any questions, please contact your local
waste disposal company.
