2- INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the O'pen BIC, a boat for children and teenagers alike who now have a true
glide machine for real excitement on the water.
This user manual has been produced to ensure that you get maximum enjoyment out of
this product in complete safety. Essentially it covers the rigging and de-rigging of the
O'pen BIC. Please make sure that you read this manual carefully, follow its suggestions,
and familiarise yourself with the boat before use.
This user manual is NOT a guide of "How to sail" your O'pen BIC, and it is not suitable for
the purpose of learning to sail a dinghy. If you are new to this boat or to the sport of sailing,
you should get practical experience and learn how to sail with a recognised sailing school
or club. If you need further information about where to learn to sail, please contact the
retailer where you purchased this product, your local sailing school or club, your national
sailing federation, or even BIC Sport directly via our website: www.bicsport.com
Keep this manual in a safe place and transfer it to the new owner if you sell the boat.
Enjoy your sailing and time on the water!!

intentions for this type of boat and will be limited to "normal use" only.

conform to the original intended use of the boat will not be covered by this warranty.
The warranty extends only to the initial purchaser.
The warranty is not valid without proof of purchase, which must include the date of
purchase, name of purchaser and serial number of the boat.
All warranty claims must be made through the authorised outlet where the boat was
originally purchased and passed to BIC Sport or its appointed agents without delay.
Any repair or modification to the craft without BIC Sport's written agreement will cancel
the warranty.
The decision of BIC Sport is final.
