■ The glass container becomes hot as
soon as it is filled with hot water. Only
ever touch the handle and the grip of
the plunger.
■ Insert the plunger carefully to prevent
hot water from splashing.
■ Be careful when carrying the coffee
maker and pouring hot coffee!
■ Allow the glass container and the
plunger to cool down completely
before cleaning them.
■ Check the product regularly for any
scratches or cracks. If you find any
damage, do not use it.

■ Protect the product from heat sources
(e.g. a stove), naked flames, sub-zero
temperatures and impacts. In addi-
tion, protect the lid with plunger from
persistent moisture.
■ Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the product from working and
to avoid possible damage.
MAKING COFFEE

The glass container is easier
to remove from the frame with
handle when it is rinsed out with
hot water.

1. Clean all accessories before using
them for the first time to remove any
production residues (see the "Clean-
ing and Storage" chapter).
2. Insert the glass container (7) into the
frame with handle (6).
3. Pour in coffee powder (medium grind-
ing fineness).
4. Pour over hot water (approx. 95°C) up
to halfway and stir.
5. Fill up the glass container (max.
800 ml).
6. Gently press down the plunger (4) to
keep the coffee powder under water.
7. Allow it to steep for approx. 4 min-
utes.
8. Slowly press the plunger all the way
down.
9. Twist the lid if necessary so that the
filter (3) is pointing towards the pour-
ing spout (5).
10. Serve the coffee.
11. Clean the glass container and the lid
with plunger after every use.
