Bosworth LightLiner Instructions for Use
Bosworth LightLiner is a unique light-cure chairside reline material that is available in a soft or hard
non-methyl methacrylate formula.
P R E P A R A T I O N
Remove denture from patent's mouth and grind 1-2mm from the entire palatal surface with a bur to
expose fresh acrylic base. Coat patient's teeth and labial surface with a silicone lubricant such as
Bosworth Masque to prevent the composite from sticking.

Soft Formula
1.
Remove denture from patent's mouth, rinse and dry.
Place in a light cure unit with a 100-watt halogen for 5 minutes. 2

Remove denture and coat with Air Barrier.
4.
Cure for an additional 5 minutes.
5.
Wash denture to remove Air Barrier coating.
6.
Trim and polish as necessary.
Hard Formula
1.
Remove denture from patent's mouth, rinse and dry.

Coat denture with Air Barrier.
Place in a light cure unit with a 100-watt halogen for 5 minutes. 2

N O T E S F O R U S I N G L I G H T L I N E R
1.
If air bubbles surface, puncture immediately with a spatula to eliminate any porosity.
2.
Times listed above are applicable only if curing with a 100 watt oven light. If curing with a 250
watt oven light, time will be approximately 1 1/2 minutes. May be cured with a hand-held unit
with a wavelength range greater than 450 nm (approximately10-15 minutes). A more powerful
light source will reduce the time of cure and a less powerful light source will increase the time
of cure.
CAUTION: Certain individuals may be sensitive to products containing acrylic.
1. Add 1 vial of liquid (4g)
to plastic cup of powder
(6g). Spatulate for 30
seconds to obtain
uniform mix. Mix slowly
to reduce bubbles.
3. Set aside remainder of
mix until it reaches a
honey-like consistency
(2-3 minutes).
2. Coat denture with a
thin layer of LightLiner
1-2 m
mix to serve as a
bonding agent.
4. Spatulate mix into
denture and place in
patient's mouth. Wipe
off excess. Hold in
patient's mouth until
composite reaches a
rubber-like
consistency (3-5
minutes).
