1) OVERVIEW:
The grinding system of your macerator is installed in a tank specially
designed for horizontal outflow toilets. This macerator is a unit
developed in accordance with the rules of the trade and subject to
constant quality control. This performance requires the scrupulous
following of the installation and maintenance rules in these instructions,
and particularly the indications marked by:
Indication, of which failure to observe may cause risks for the
safety of persons.
Indication giving warning of a risk of electrical origin.
This appliance is not intended for persons (including children) whose
physical, sensory or mental capabilities are limited, or which experience
and knowledge are defects, unless they are under supervision and
receive the necessary instructions for use the device with the help of a
person responsible for their safety. Supervise children and ensure they
do not play with the appliance.
2) APPLICATION:
This macerator is for domestic use only: fig. 1.
It has the advantage of high efficiency, safety and reliability provided
that all the installation and maintenance rules described in these
instructions are observed.
You will find the height/ length equivalences: fig. 2.
NB: Each elbow placed on the evacuation of the macerator causes a
decrease in lifting capacity by about 50 cm per elbow.
3) LIST OF SUPPLIED PARTS:
See fig. 3.
4) DIMENSIONS AND OVERALL DIMENSIONS:
See fig 4.

6) ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION:
CONNECT THE MACERATOR
ELECTRICALLY ONLY AFTER ITS
COMPLETE INSTALLATION.
The electrical installation must be done by a qualified person and the
rules of electrical installation in a bathroom (NF C15100) must be
observed.
-
If the cable of this macerator is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer by its after-sales service to avoid any danger.
-
The Class I equipment must be connected to a socket 2 poles +
earth.
-
This mains socket must be used only for supplying the macerator
and must be connected to a differential circuit breaker, calibrated at 30
mA and protected by a 5 amp fuse.
520 W
50 Hz
230 – 240 V
IP 44
7) ASSEMBLY OF THE SIDE INFLOWS: fig. 5
Insert the conical seal (J) on the cap (K) according to the indicated
direction (the thickest part of the seal must be in contact with the cap
bearing surface).
Insert, as indicated, the "cap - conical seal" assembly in the nut (L),
being careful to refit the cap flat on the bearing surface of the nut.
Screw the complete assembly to the side inflows of the tank, to the right
tightness compress the seal correctly.
8) CONNECTING TO THE SIDE INFLOWS: fig. 6
-
Loosen the union nut (L) and remove the entire cap joint
assembly,(K,J).
-
Place the Ø 40 PVC pipe in the nut (L) with its conical seal (J), and
tighten the assembly to the union.
All elements connected to the side entrances should result above the
level of reflux and have a drop of 130mm minimum: fig. 7.
9) ASSEMBLY OF THE WASHBASIN INFLOW: fig. 8
The sink can be connected in 2 ways:
-
On one of the side entrances
-
Either on the pre-entry cuttable cover:
Using a knife, remove the pre-cut cover, mount the connector (B) with
a collar (C1) on the entrance of the lid, place the drain of the sink Ø 40
mm in fitting (B) and tighten the clamp (C2)
Any macerator connected to a macerator must be perfectly
watertight. Even a slight leak causes untimely starting of the
grinder.
10) ASSEMBLY OF THE COUPLING: fig. 9
-
Insert the ring (E) in the coupling (D).
-
Clip in these two pieces by turning them by a 1/4 turn in the hole of
the appliance.
The coupling is intended to be connected to a horizontal WC outlet of a
diameter that complies with standards EN33 and EN37.
11) CONNECTING THE TOILET :
Fix the brackets (F) with the screws (G) in the macerator fig. 10.
Insert the toilet outflow coupling by pulling the two tabs.
Once the macerator is positioned, fix it to the ground by two screws
(not supplied).
12) ASSEMBLY OF THE EVACUATION: fig.11
-
Fit the discharge elbow (A) and point it in the direction of evacuation,
tighten elbow on the instrument using a collar (C1).
-
Connect the drain Ø32 with a collar (C2).
When lifting, we recommend installing a second check valve swing on
the drainage line, as close as possible to the grinder.
WARNING !!!
Observe a slop of 1%.
Avoid low points in the pipe.
