Programming the wireless remote control

Important:
• Only those radiant heaters should be connected to the
mains that are to undergo programming to a hand-held
transmitter button. In this way several receivers can be
programmed for simultaneous operation (multipower).
Already programmed radiant heaters can remain con-
nected to the mains.
• Use of other components with a radio-signal interface
(e.g. wireless PC mouse and keyboard) can result in
faulty operation of the radio receiver. Switch off all
other wireless components, particularly when program-
ming.
Initial
programming:
The radiant heaters to be programmed are connected to the
mains. Readiness for automatic programming (autoleaning) is
signalled by full heat output. Now brief pressing of the desired
button on the hand-held transmitter triggers radio receiver pro-
gramming (low heat output). Repeated pressing of the same
button confirms the programming (full heat output). This pro-
cess is ended by final long pressing of a button on the hand-
held transmitter (briefly low heat output, then full heat output).
The radiant heaters are now programmed.
Multiple
programming
It is possible to program radiant heaters on up to eight buttons
on one or more hand-held transmitters (multicontrol). The cor-
responding radiant heaters are connected to the mains (full
heat output). As described under „First programming", the but-
ton to be programmed is briefly pressed (low heat output) and
confirmed through repeated pressing (full heat output). Then
the next button is programmed by pressing (low heat output)
and subsequent confirmation (full heat output). This process is
repeated until all the desired buttons on all the desired hand-
held transmitters are programmed. The multiple programming
is ended by long pressing of a button on one hand-held trans-
mitter (briefly low heat output, then full heat output).
Safety
switch-off:
The radiant heaters remain completely off after a power outa-
ge.
