Thank you for purchasing the C.A.P. TMP-1 Thermostat for Heating or Cooling (item code CATMP1). The TMP-1 is an
extremely useful device which can be used to control the temperature in your growing area. Just set the dial to the
temperature that you wish to maintain, and it will turn on the outlet on the face whenever the room temperature
falls below the chosen setpoint (for heating) or rises above the setpoint (for cooling).
OVERVIEW
• The TMP-1 controls temperature by turning on an exhaust fan or A/C unit for cooling, or a heater for heating.
• The external temperature probe is highly accurate & reliable.
• The TMP-1 is a very affordable way to control the temperature in your growing environment.
The TMP-1 is extremely easy to use. Once connected, the temperature will be maintained at the level you set.
CONNECTIONS & OPERATION
1.
Plug your TMP-1 controller into a 120V outlet and then plug the device to be controlled into your TMP-1
controller. This controller is rated for no more than 15A maximum load.

The left side switch lets you select between the controller's modes of Heat, Cool or Off. The TMP-1 has a 5°F
differential, and will turn on the heating or cooling device plugged into it when the room temperature exceeds
or falls below the setpoint by 2.5°F.
Heat mode energizes the outlet when the room temperature falls 2.5°F lower than your setpoint. Cool mode
energizes the outlet when the room temperature rises 2.5°F higher than your setpoint. Off mode temporarily
disables the TMP-1 controller so you can make other adjustments.

Set the Temp knob to the room temperature that you do not want exceeded (for Cool mode) or the
temperature that you do not want it colder than (for Heat mode). The On LED will illuminate when the outlet
on the front of the unit is energized.

El termostato TMP-1 para calefacción y refrigeración es un dispositivo de gran utilidad que puede utilizarse
para controlar la temperatura de la zona de cultivo. Simplemente seleccione en la esfera del temporizador la
temperatura que se desea mantener y él mismo se activará cuando la temperatura de la estancia descienda
(calefacción) o aumente (refrigeración) en relación con el valor seleccionado.
INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
• El TMP-1 controla la temperatura mediante la activación de un ventilador o una unidad de aire acondicionado
(para refrigerar), o un calefactor (para calentar).
• El sensor térmico externo es de gran precisión y fiabilidad.
• El TMP-1 es una forma muy económica de regular la temperatura de la zona de cultivo.
El TMP-1 es muy fácil de utilizar. Una vez conectado, la temperatura se mantiene en el nivel seleccionado.
CONEXIÓN Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
1.
Enchufe el controlador TMP-1 a una toma de corriente de 120V y conecte el aparato que se desea controlar al
TMP-1. No utilice el controlador para cargas superiores a 15A.

El interruptor de la izquierda permite seleccionar el modo del controlador: Heat (Calor), Cool (Frío) o Off
(Apagado). El TMP-1 tiene un diferencial de 2,8°C aprox. y encenderá el aparato de calefacción o refrigeración
conectado cuando la temperatura de la estancia sea superior o inferior en 1,4°C aprox. en relación con el valor
seleccionado.
El modo Heat (Calor) activa la toma de corriente cuando la temperatura de la estancia disminuye en 1,4°C
aprox. en relación con la temperatura seleccionada. El modo Cool (Frío) activa la toma de corriente cuando la
temperatura de la estancia aumenta en 1,4°C aprox. en relación con la temperatura seleccionada. El modo Off
(Apagado) desactiva temporalmente el controlador TMP-1 para poder realizar otros ajustes.
