Safety Instructions for batteries:
• Incorrect polarity of the batteries can destroy the unit.
• Do not store batteries within reach of children, especially those that can be swallowed.
• Do not attempt to reactivate batteries by heating or similar measures.
• Primary batteries must not be charged as this can lead to electrolyte leakage, explosion or fire.
• Do not immerse batteries in water and store them in a dry and cool place, not in a damp place.
• Do not throw batteries into the fire, do not open them or solder or weld them yourself.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
Preparing for use (battery)
Wireless bell:
Release the cover of the battery compartment from its fixture using the lever. Insert the batteries
(3 x 1.5V AA) into the compartment. Ensure the polarity is correct, which is discernible within the
compartment. Close the battery compartment by reattaching the appropriate cover.
Bell push:
Remove the battery cover on the reverse of the bell push. Insert the battery (3V CR2032) into the
compartment. Ensure the polarity is correct (+ pole facing upwards). Close the battery compartment
by reattaching the appropriate cover.
Preparing for use (mode, ring tone, volume, pairing)
Mode
Select the desired mode by pressing the "MODE" button (5). To configure your desired mode, press
the button repeatedly until the wireless bell is in the mode you want.
The following modes are available to choose from:
• Audible notification via a tone
• Visual notification via LED indicator light
• Audio-visual notification via tone + LED indicator light
Ring tone
There are 36 different ring tones to choose from. To change the melody, press the button (3) on the
wireless bell, which is denoted by a musical clef symbol.
Volume
The volume can be adjusted to six different levels by pressing the "VOL" button (6).
Pairing
You can allocate up to five bell pushes to one wireless bell (e.g. one bell push for each entrance to a
site, with the wireless bell located centrally), or you can allocate up to five wireless bells to one bell
push (e.g. bell push at the front door, and one wireless bell on each floor). With such a setup, ensure
that the wireless bell and bell push are tuned to the same radio frequency (433MHz). Wireless bells
and bell pushes can be paired in the following ways.
Press the "CODE" button (4) on the side of the wireless bell. The wireless bell will emit an audiovisual
signal when it is ready for programming. Now depress the push button of the bell push to connect
the devices to each other. As soon as the wireless bell receives the signal, you will hear a ring tone.
This process lasts approximately 10 seconds. The bell push and the wireless bell were successfully
paired. If the pairing was not successful, repeat the process from the beginning once the LED on the
wireless bell stops flashing.
If you are using several bell pushes in conjunction with one wireless bell, you can assign a different
ring tone for each bell push. To do this, select the desired ring tone on the wireless bell and pair the
bell push as described above. The selected ring tone and the bell push are now connected. Simply
repeat this process for the other bell pushes.
10
To reset the bell push, hold down the button (3) on the wireless bell for approx. 5 seconds. When
the LED indicator light comes on, all of the saved connection information will have been erased.
Now remove the batteries from the wireless bell(s) and the bell push(es) and reinsert them after 30
seconds. Once the batteries are back inside their respective appliances, the bell push and wireless
bell can be paired with each other for 30 seconds. You can set up the ring tone as described in the
"Choosing a ring tone" section.
If the product is not in use/not needed for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the
wireless bell and bell push.
Installation
The wireless bell is intended to be attached to a wall with screws. Choose a suitable indoor location
for installing the device, e.g. near the door. To install on a wall, drill a hole in the wall and insert a wall
plug. Then put a screw into the wall plug and hang the wireless bell on it.
You can attach the bell push using either the double-sided adhesive tape or with screws.
Select a protected position outdoors to install it, e.g. under a roof.
To secure the bell push with screws, remove the back cover and drill through both of the
indentations. Then drill two holes into the wall and insert the wall plugs. Now screw the back cover to
the wall.
Lastly, fasten the front cover to the back cover.
The bell push can be personalised with a nameplate. Write on a small piece of paper
(approx. 18 x 24mm), lift the transparent covering on the front and slide it into place.
Then return the transparent covering to its original position.
Cleaning
• Switch the product off by remove the batteries.
• Use only a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Use a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use acidic or solvent-based cleaning products.
