The outlet pipe must be dimensioned pursuant to DIN 4755 in such a way that the mean flow
rate of the fuel oil is between (0.2 and 0.5) m/s. In the event of too large a pipe diameter with
low flow rates, undesired formation of gas bubbles may occur.
