SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Risk of flying particles .
• Use of damaged hand tools, sockets, extensions and
accessories may result in injury.
• Do not use torque screwdriver as a hammer.
• Torque screwdriver not in calibration may cause
damage to parts or tools.
• Do not use extensions on hadle as a damage to
torque screwdriver will result.
• To avoid "side load" ocurred with inaccurate torque
readings, please keep torque screwdriver vertical to
the flat of use.
NOTE: Always use aye protection while using hand
tool.
WARNING
Injury may result from electrical shock.
• Handle is not insulated, do not use on live electrical
or high valtage circuits.
MANTEINANCE / SERVICE
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LUBRICATE THE INTER-
NAL MECHANISM
1. The torque screwdriver´s internal mechanism is
permanently lubricated during assembly.
2. Clean torque screwdriver by wiping. Do not
immerse.
3. Store torque screwdriver in protective case at its
lowest torque setting. Do not force handle below
lowest setting.
ADJUSTMENTS OF TORQUE SETTINGS
a) To unlock the adjusting knob, hold body of screw-
driver and firmly pull knob to rear (fig.4).
b) Set screwdriver to desired torque as follows:
1. Turn adjusting knob clockwise until the major grad-
uation line is aligned with the 20 on scale (see fig.1)
and arrow indicator on screwdriver body is in line to
"0" graduation on the adjusting knob.
2.
Turn adjusting knob two increment clockwise.
Screwdriver is now set at 22 cNm (fig.2).
3. To lock adjusting knob, push towards the drive until
it clicks into the lock position (fig.3).
4. To torque fastener, keep hand centered on the
screwdriver grip. Turn screwdriver clockwise until a
