Before beginning to assemble or install lighting fixture, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list.
If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 5 minutes
Tools required for Assembly (not included): Pencil, Ruler, Phillips screwdriver and Drill with 1/4 in. bit.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS/INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE
1. Before assembly, slide the switch at the bottom of the deck light (A) to turn it on. Note: The light
stays on for 60 seconds after activation.

2. Use ruler (not included) to measure width of two keyholes on the back of the deck light (A). Then,
mark the desired location and use drill with 1/4 in. bit (not included) to drill two holes on the surface.

Insert the screws (AA) into the drilled holes and leave at least 1/4 in. of the screws (AA) outside of
the surface. Then, attach keyholes of deck light (A) to heads of screws (AA).

Insert the plastic anchors (BB) into the drilled holes so they are flush with the surface. Insert the
screws (AA) and leave at least 1/4 in. of the screws outside of the surface. Then, attach keyholes
of deck light (A) to heads of screws (AA).

• CHARGING THE BATTERIES/CARGA DE LAS BATERÍAS
For optimum performance, it is best to install the solar light in full sunlight and charge for 10-12 hours with the switch in ON
position. Allow the light to run at least 8-12 complete charging and discharging cycles to reach batteries' maximum capacity.

• REPLACING THE BATTERIES/REEMPLAZO DE LAS BATERÍAS
The included rechargeable batteries will usually last two years. Replace batteries only when you notice the performance of the
solar light is weaker than its normal operation.
To replace the battery, remove screws and the battery compartment cover on the bottom of deck light. Replace
the old battery with new 3.2V 14430 lithium phosphate solar rechargeable battery. Note: A minimum capacity of
250mAh is required. Ensure the battery is installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -). Replace the screws
and the battery compartment cover.

Keep debris and snow off the solar panel to allow the batteries to recharge. If lights have been covered by snow for a long time,
allow batteries to recharge in full, direct sunlight for at least 10-12 hours so that they maintain maximum capacity.
