OPERATION:
SBT-200 is a device used to protect the data bus in DaisaTest
System. Optoisolates the Principal Bus from the Secondary Bus,
protecting electrically the different zones of the installation from
overvoltage, shortcircuit...
It makes easier the starting up and the maintenance of
DaisaTest System (See DaisaTest wiring Guide):
- Detects and indicates shortcircuits and leakages in the
Secondary Bus. Detects failures in the Secondary Bus.
- Checks the wiring of the Secondary Bus with the
luminaires: Pressing the TESTBUS button, the device goes to
Test Mode:
in this mode, the signalling pilots of the TCA
luminaires that are correctly connected to the Secondary Bus
blink. To exit this Test Mode, press TESTBUS button again or
wait 12h, after which the device exits this mode automatically.
If the pressing time is greater than 3 seconds, the luminaries
connected to the Secondary Bus go to rest mode and the
device returns to normal operation automatically.
Any check or operation in the Secondary Bus must be carried
out in Test Mode.
To identify the line with shortcircuit or leakage, press TESTBUS
button and disconnect one by one the secondary lines; when the
line with the failure is disconnected, the corresponding pilot
(shortcircuit or leakage) will switch off.
Until the failures are not corrected, it is not possible to check
the wiring of the Secondary Bus, because while a failure
persists, no luminaire will blink.
INDICATION PILOTS:
- BUS PRINCIPAL: The pilot ON indicates that the bus is
connected to the control unit. A short blink indicates the activity
in the communication process.
- BUS SEC: The pilot ON indicates that the bus transmits the
bus signal to the luminaires. A short blink indicates the activity
in the communication process. A intermittence of this pilot
indicates that the device is in Test Mode (TESTBUS button has
been pressed).
-
SHORTCIRCUIT: Indicates a shortcircuit in
the wiring in the Secondary bus.
-
LEAKAGE: Indicates that one or both of the
wires of the Secondary Bus is in contact with the mains supply
(L, N) or with earth.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Fix the device in a DIN 46277/3 rail. The width is equivalent to 4
standard magnetothermal switches. It must be installed in the
interior of an electric board.
For the Principal Bus and Secondary Bus connections, BUS-TAM
wire must be used.

the voltage of the distributing mains supply corresponds with
that specified on the unit.
- Make sure the unit is disconnected from the MAINS before
performing any maintenance procedure.
- Any installation or maintenance procedure must be carried
out by qualified personnel.
