• Make sure the plug has an adequate earth base.
• Do not leave unattended while in use.
• Take care the cable cord does not touch any hot parts.
• Don't allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out
of the reach of children.
• Always place on a heat resistance surface.
• Keep out of curtains or other flammable materials.
• The temperature of the metallic surfaces could be high when the
appliance is working.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• It must always be used on a firm solid horizontal surface.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
• To unplug, pull from the plug, never from the cable.
• It must not be used outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or a
separate system of remote control.
• It is absolutely normal that some smoke and a slight smell could appear
from the appliance during the first uses.
• Use this appliance only with the supplied stone.
• Do not put frozen food on the stone while it is hot.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised
Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Before using for the first time, clean the surface of the stone with a
damp cloth. Next, dry carefully with a cloth or kitchen roll.
• Place the appliance on a flat and heat resistance surface.
• Place the stone with the side of the groove face upward.
• Plug into the mains and press the switch (1) to its on position I. The
pilot light will light on.
• Wait approximately about 25-30 minutes to let the surface reach
the correct temperature.
• It is recommended to cut the food in pieces of 5-6 cm, although you
can cook food in its common size.
• Next, pour some oil on the stone and place the food.
• If you are going to use the raclettes (3) put a piece of cheese on them
and place them under the heating element. You can also use the raclettes
to temper some sauces.
• Always use heat resisting utensils to move or turn the food over.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning, unplug the appliance from the mains
and remove the connector from its base.
