General adjustments
1: Brake lever:
- When you press the brake lever, it will cut off the electricity to the motor
and will actuate the friction of the brake discs. A light touch will stop your
smartgyro and it is enough to brake well. It is very important to regularly
check the condition of the brakes. These should be aligned and with a
good contact surface. If you notice that they are making an unusual noise
(metallic grinding) or that they have lost braking power, check the braking
system.
2: Adjustment of the braking system, considerations.
- When the brake disc is broken or deformed, be sure to replace it with a
new disc.
- If the brake disc wears to a thickness of about 1.5mm, so that you can see
the aluminum surface, be sure to replace the brake disc with a new one.
- If there is grease on the surface of the brake disc, wipe it off with a cloth.
Otherwise, the braking system may not be able to work properly.
