SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR MITRE SAW STANDS
Do not modify the mitre saw stand or use it for any
purpose for which it is not intended.
This stand will accommodate many mitre saws.
However, it should never be used on any mitre saw
with a blade diameter larger than 305 mm. Always
confirm any mitre saw used is mounted securely and
is stable before use. Perform a dry run of the cutting
operation just to make sure that no problems will occur
when the cut is made.

Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark
areas invite accidents.
Disconnect the plug or remove the battery from the
mitre saw before assembly or making adjustments.
Unintentional switching on of the power tool is the cause
of many accidents.
Assemble the mitre saw stand in the proper manner
before mounting the power tool. Proper assembly
is important to prevent the risk of a collapse of the saw
stand.
Attach the mitre saw securely to the saw stand
before using it. Slipping off of the mitre saw on the saw
stand can lead to loss of control.
Place the mitre saw stand on a dry, stable and flat
surface. If the mitre saw stand can slip off or wobbles,
the mitre saw or the workpiece cannot be uniformly and
securely guided.
Do not overload the mitre saw stand and do not use
it as a ladder or scaffolding. Overloading or standing
on the mitre saw stand can lead to tipping over.
When working or transporting, take care that all
bolts and connecting elements are firmly tightened.
Loose connections can lead to instability and inexact
sawing.
(Dis)mount the mitre saw only when it is in the
transport position (for instructions on the transport
position, also see the operating instructions of the
mitre saw).
When the mitre saw is mounted to the tool mount
brackets, operate it exclusively on the mitre saw
stand. Without the mitre saw stand, the mitre saw with
tool mount brackets can tip over.
Ensure that long and heavy workpieces do not
affect the balance of the mitre saw stand. Long and/
or heavy workpieces must be supported at the free end.
