PLUSHPALS
PLUSHPALS
In order for the Plush Pal to function to the best of its ability, it is recommended that "branded"
batteries be used. Once the batteries begin to run low, you will notice that the Plush Pal will work
intermittently or stop moving and talking altogether. If this happens, simply change the batteries and
the Plush Pal will function as expected. Please also note that the volume on any mobile handset or
MP3 player needs to be turned to maximum volume for the Plush Pal to interface correctly.
Operating the Plush Pal
Before the Plush Pal will operate, please make sure it is switched on at the base.
Mobile hands free Plush Pal
The Plush Pal plugs into any handset that uses a standard 3.5mm jack, most modern smart phones
and BlackBerrys use this. In order for the Plush Pal to function correctly, plug it in and wait for the
call. Upon answering the phone, the user will need to make sure that the handset is set to "head-
set" or "loudspeaker". This varies from phone to phone but in most circumstances the option to do
this will appear on the phone's screen. Once this is done, the Plush Pal will move and speak in time
with the caller. Please be aware that some older generations of mobile phones have a lower volume
capability and therefore won't interface with the Plush Pal correctly.
Note: This last sentence pertains to mobile phones and should not be in the MP3 Plush Pal section.
MP3 Plush Pal
Again, plug the Plush Pal into the MP3 player, select your song and the Plush Pal will sing and
dance along. If the Plush Pal fails to function as normal, please change the batteries and make sure
that the volume on the device is turned to maximum.
