Low Charge Alert (LCA) On the front of the unit there is a Low Charge Alert port. There is a red plug in this port. With the plug removed, when the battery needs to be charged a continuous tone will sound telling you the battery level is low and the Portable Power System needs to be charged.
Turn off ignition and all vehicle accessories. Make sure the Portable Power System is fully charged and jump-starter ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position. Turn any additional functions of your Portable Power System off. Securely connect the red positive (+) booster clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle’s battery. Securely connect the black negative (-) booster clamp to the grounding point such as the metal frame of the vehicle.
Some rechargeable devices are equipped with a separate charger that can be connected to the AC outlet. Certain other rechargeable devices are manufactured with built-in chargers (see device’s manual). In this case, these particular devices may cause internal damage to the inverter and should not be used.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE Storage Store the Portable Power System at room temperature. Make sure the battery clamps are stored on the appropriate case clamp posts on the sides of the unit after use. Due to inherent self-discharge, lead acid batteries should be charged at least every 4 months, especially in a warm environment.
