The DVC-101-HD Manual Vacuum Tester provides a quick, sim-
ple and accurate method for checking valve seating on most gaso-
line and diesel engines. A rubber 4
combustion chamber, vacuum is applied, and valve seating is
checked by timing vacuum leak-down.
Instructions
1) Attach supplied tubing to pump nozzle, and vacuum plate
2) Place cup adaptor over combustion chamber to be tested, and
3) Operate pump to test sealing of cup adaptor. If seal is not tight,
4) With test plate in position, operate pump until at lest 22 in.
5) When gauge hand drops to 20 in. Hg, start timing. Stop timing

Your Manual Vacuum Tester can be used on any engine which
have the following characteristics:
1) A smooth cylinder head surface which will allow the test plate
2) Valves which do not protrude above the cylinder head
