Room temperature

The appliance can be operated at a room temperature of 10°C to 30°C
and a relative humidity of 35% - 80% (non-condensing).
When switched off, the device may be stored at temperatures between
-10°C and 60°C and a relative humidity of 20% - 80% (non-
condensing).
CAUTION!
After transporting the device, wait until the device has reached room
temperature before switching it on. Large changes in temperature or
fluctuations in humidity can cause moisture to build up inside the
device due to condensation, which can cause an electrical short circuit.

Electromagnetic compatibility

You must comply with the European directives on electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) when connecting the device.
Keep the device at least one metre away from high frequency or magnetic
interference sources (televisions, loudspeakers, mobile telephones, etc.) to
avoid malfunction and data loss.

Connecting the device safely

To connect your device properly, follow these instructions:
Position the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
Do not place any objects on the cable to avoid damaging it.

Data backups

PLEASE NOTE!
Always back up your data onto an external storage device (e.g. CD-
R) after each update.
We do not accept any liability for damage arising from loss of data or
any resulting loss or damage.

Never conduct repairs yourself

WARNING!
Never try to open or repair the appliance yourself, as this may
cause electric shock.
In case of a failure, contact the MEDION Service Centre or other
suitable repair shop.
