Prep:
1. Wall and floor should be square, plumb and level for optimum installation.
2. Secure a 2x6 brace board directly to the stud framing at a height according to Table 1, from the floor to the center of the 2x6. The
board should be attached to at least three (3) studs and project completely across the wall surface where the lavatory will be installed.
3. CAUTION: It is always best to have help when installing, as some of these units are awkward and heavy to handle.
Installation:
1. Position the pedestal into the desired location. Set the lavatory basin
on top of the pedestal, checking to ensure it is level and aligned properly.
2. Position the steel/plastic bracket/hangers (included) in place and, with a
pencil, mark the oblong slots on the wall. Trace the outline of the base of the
pedestal for reference.
3. Carefully remove the lavatory basin from the pedestal and drill a 5/32"
pilot hole at the center of the traced oblong slots. With the hanger in place,
thread a #16 Pan Head Wood Screw and Washer into both pilot holes.
4. Install faucet and drain to the lavatory basin, according to the
manufacturer's instructions. Do not fully tighten slip joint drain
connections at this time.
5. Set the lavatory basin back on the pedestal so that the hanger is
supporting the lavatory. Verfiy the pedestal is in the proper position
according to the reference lines drawn earlier. The pedestal should support
the lavatory basin. Make leveling adjustments with the slotted hanger. After
you are sure you have a good fit, remove the lavatory basin and drill 5/32"
pilot holes through the remaining five holes to secure the steel hanger to the
wall. Connect and tighten trap to drain. Finish connecting the water supply,
according to faucet manufacturer's instructions.
6. Caulk the joint between the lavatory and the wall.
7. Install the remaining screws through the underside basin holes to
complete the fastening of the basin to the wall.
CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN — damage to the basin may occur.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS: Your new lavatory will provide
you with years of service. Cleaning should be done on a regular basis. The
use of scouring cleansers may remove the glaze on the lavatory and are
not recommended. Wipe all outside surfaces with a soapy water solution
and clean the basin area with a non-abrasive type clean. The use of basin
cleaners containing chlorine will cause damage and are not recommended.
