1. Product Description
The Aqua Medic Temperature Controller HC is generally delivered with a salt-water resistant
temperature sensor. The unit is ready for connection. The heating device can be connected to the
main plug.
2. Heaters
Heaters of any type (i. e. glass or metal aquarium heaters, low voltage heating cables with
transformer, warm water supply by a magnetic valve) can be controlled with this Temperature
Controller. The maximum output is approx. 1,000 Watt.

4. Installation
- Connect to 220 V power source.
- Set switch 3 to „T" (display of temperature).
- Place the temperature sensor into the aquarium and fix it with an Aqua Medic electrode holder.
After a few minutes, the actual temperature of aquarium water is indicated.
5. Adjusting the nominal values
- Put switch 3 to „Set" to adjust the desired value. To change the value, use the „Set" knob (4).
- Set switch 3 back to „T". The unit is now ready for use.
- As soon as the temperature value falls below the adjusted value, the unit activates the power
plug (6) and switches on the consumer (heating).
