1a.) Contact-free Voltage Test
The METREL MD 115 is able to seek live wires out with the circuit
integrated
In the tip. When recognizing an alternating voltage of 110 V AC,
the white
cap flashes up red (see picture point 1a) and device will vibrate. In
order to be able to seek out
tensions under 110 V AC, you switch the flashlight on (1b). Now,
alternating voltages can be recognized starting from 12 V AC.
A current flow is not necessary!
1b.) Torch lamp
Switch on the integrated flashlight by pressing the knob (see
picture
point 1b). With the high efficient LED an illuminated period of up
to 60 hours (per battery set) is attainable! The life span of the LED
is
more than 100,000 hours.
2.) Change Batteries
Take a screwdriver and lever out the battery case at the
indentation
(see picture point 2).
Pay attention when inserting the new batteries to the polarity!
Do not dispose the empty batteries with the domestic refuse.
In your proximity is a suitable collecting point!
