CarbonMatic
The CarbonMatic is a CO2 controller with double functionality.
The controller may, based on the value CO2 in a room activate an extractor fan when the CO2 level is
higher than the set value. In addition, the CO2 controller may activate the valves of a CO2 booster to add CO2
into the room when the level is below the set value. The light sensor makes sure that the
CarbonMatic, in CO2 + mode, activates only in daytime.
The CarbonMatic displays the measured room CO2 value in ppm, divided by 100.
Use:
Insert the CarbonMatic into the wall outlet and the digital display will turn on.
Use the left switch to select the function.
CO2- relates to the extraction of CO2 in a room, CO2+ concerns the addition of CO2 in the room.
Use the right switch to set the desired CO2 level in the space. The value in ppm is the value on the display times
100.
Operation:
The CarbonMatic will measure the CO2 level in the room. Where it differs from the set point value, the
CarbonMatic will be active for a few minutes. To let the air mix, there will be a few minutes to wait before starting
a new measurement. If the CO2 level in the room is still different from the set value, the procedure will start again,
and so on until the set point value is reached.
Display messages:
The display can show both measured data and status:
Digits not flashing:
The CarbonMatic output is not active shown number is measured value in ppm divided by 100.
Digits flashing slowly:
The CarbonMatic output is active, shown number is measured value in ppm, divided by 100.
Digits flashing quickly:
The CarbonMatic indicates the set point value in ppm, divided by 100.
-- (Two dashes):
The night program is active. The CarbonMatic is inactive in CO+ mode.
