4 load the paper on the paper feed plate and make sure to stack the paper neatly. Side the paper
guide to help aligning the paper. If you fail to do so: mis-feed, chain feed or improper fold may occur.
5 Pull the paper tray out to the same length as the desired fold style and fold length. Folded paper
will then stack up properly inside the basket.
6 Adjust fold size by positioning the folding stopper.
I Loosen the knobs on the folding stoppers.
II Move the folding stoppers on both fold plates to the specified position referring to the
folding instruction. (overview on the side of the machine)
III Lock the knobs tightly
Fine adjustment: (consult figure 5, pg 13) Rotate the dejamming handle to feed a sheet. Move
the stoppers little by little to properly adjust the position referring to the correcting folding mis-
alignment table. Repeat test folding until fine adjustment achieved.
7. Press the Start/Stop button to run the machine, and press the same button to stop folding. Folding
automatically stops in 15 seconds when papers run out.
Preset a folding program:
1 press the "preset" (1) button: the first digit on the display will start flashing
2 The flashing digit can now be programmed. Press the "set" (2) button till the desired number is
reached
3 Press the "preset"(2) button again to set the second digit.
4 Repeat the same procedure to set another 2 digits on the display.
5 When all 3 digits have been set and no digit is flashing on the display (3), you can choose the
speed setting (5). A higher speed setting generates more decibels and has a higher chance of paper
jam due to a build up of static charge. Press the "Start/Stop" (4) button to run the preset program.
6 Finally, the machine will stop automatically when the counter hits the number of sheets you have
preset.
Clearing Paper Jam:
I Turn off the power switch and unplug the power card.
II Insert the Dejamming handle (which is placed at the bottom of the machine) into the hole at
the left side of machine. Rotate it either direction to eject jammed paper.
III If above step does not clear the jam, remove the front & rear fold plate, or open the paper
feed cover and repeat step 2 to eject jammed paper.
Maintenance:
Unplug the machine while it is being wiped. Clean the machine with a slightly moist, soft cloth.
remove the front & rear fold plate and open the paper feed cover.
Insert the dejammnig handle (place at the bottom of the machine) into the hole. Rotate it either
direction to drive all rollers. Clean the fold rollers, feeding roller, feeding wheels and separator rubber
with a cloth moistened with alcohol or neutral detergent.
