Care & Maintenance: Cutter
For best results, always keep your GO!
cutter clean and lint free. To clean the
cutter inside and out, use a soft dry
cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray
cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp
cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use
canned air to clear lint from roller area.
The GO!
Fabric Cutter does not have
replacement parts.
Care & Maintenance: Dies
Use adhesive lint roller to clean lint and
thread from dies. After each use, with the
die pick provided with the cutter, remove
any threads imbedded between blades
and foam. (Be careful...die pick is sharp!)
It's normal for threads to get caught
where blades meet in a die. Remove with
tweezers or die pick. Die blades never
need to be sharpened. Organize dies with
GO!
Storage Rack (55115).

Cutter Tips
• Make sure cutter lays on a perfectly flat surface.
If not level, dies might not pass through properly.
• To adjust position on table, grasp center of roller
and lift cutter gently.
• For best results, use on hard, clean surface so
rubber feet can grip and hold cutter in place.
• If machine lifts while cutting, you might be
attempting to cut too many layers or material
might not be suitable for cutting.
• If die should jam, it is a result of too many
cutting layers. To remove, first attempt to roll the
cutter handle in the opposite direction. Gently
work the die from under the rollers. Never force a
die through.
Die Tips
• With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two
will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads
with scissors.
• Use mat that matches size of each die.
• For best results, cut with die blades running
under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades
parallel to roller.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle.
Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die
board.
• Some dies feature specially designed corners to
aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
Cutting Mat Tips
• Store cutting mat flat.
• Avoid direct sunlight. Do not leave mat in a
hot car.
• Do not use warped cutting mat.
• Alternate sides to extend life of mat.
• Cutting mat is specially formatted for use with
GO!™ Fabric Cutter. Do not substitute.
• Replace mat when cutting performance of dies is
reduced or mat shows excessive wear.
