GB Rotary paper cutter GENIE RC08/RC09
Operating instructions:
-
Place the paper or material that you intend to cut in the required position on the cutting base.
You will be able to use the scales marked out to locate the correct sheet format. Prior to
inserting the paper, ensure that the cutting head is positioned at the bottom or topmost end of
the aluminium guide rail. This will allow you to put the paper in place without difficulty.
-
Ensure that you place the material that you intend to cut beneath the transparent plastic rails.
This will eliminate the possibility of the paper sliding.
In order to cut the material, simply slide the cutting head along the aluminium guide rail. The
-
material is cut precisely along the edge of the metal cutting base. The round rotary blade
guarantees that the cut will be clean and straight.
-
Cutting capacity:
GENIE RC08 model (A4): Maximum 10 sheets of paper (80g) o
o
GENIE RC09 model (A3): Maximum 7 sheets of paper (80g)
-
Once the rotary blade becomes blunt, it can be replaced. This requires a complete
replacement of the cutting head. In order to replace the cutting head, proceed as follows:
A) Lift up the small cap on the topside of the plastic frame. This cap is marked with a dotted
arrow.
B) Slide the guide rail a little through the opening which has appeared.
C) Now slide the cutting head in the other direction, towards the detached end of the guide
rail. It is now possible to completely remove the cutting head.
D) Take the new cutting head and slide it onto the guide rail. When doing so, ensure that the
position is correct, i.e. the cutting head must be positioned such that the rotary blade runs
precisely along the edge of the metal cutting base.
Attention: Only use original cutting heads produced by GENIE. Only these blades fit the
paper cutter precisely and guarantee perfect functionality.
Please ensure that you hold the cutting head by the top section only, i.e. the plastic
housing. The sharp rotary blade is located on the underside. This presents a risk of injury!
