• Do not charge a battery pack in wet or hot circumstances or when the battery pack itself is hot. Always charge
batteries in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not dispose of batteries or a battery pack in fire or water.
• Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries and do not overcharge batteries.
• Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
• Avoid mixing new batteries with batteries that have already been used.
5. Operation
• Before using the device for the first time, glue the tyres to the rims with some contact adhesive.
• Put the plastic tube over the car antenna wire and insert the tube into the antenna stand in the car body.
• Extend the remote control antenna fully.
• Switch the remote control and the car on (fig.1 #3 + fig.2 #6).
• If the car moves forward or backward by itself (not caused by the remote control), adjust the Throttle Trim (TH-
TRIM - fig.1 #8) of the transmitter until the car stops.
• If you make the car go forward without touching the steering control (fig.1 #5) and the car veers to the right or the
left by itself, adjust the Steering Trim (ST-TRIM - fig.1 #7) until the car moves straight forward.
• Pull the trigger (fig.1 #9) towards the grip to make the car go forward proportionally. Press the trigger forward to
make the car go backward proportionally. Never fully pull or push the trigger in one sudden move ; always
accelerate gradually.
• Turn the steering wheel (fig.1 #5) to the left or the right to make the car turn proportionally.
• When finished, switch the remote control and the car off (fig.1 #3 + fig.2 #6).
6. Frequency Crystals
The TRCV2 comes with 4 sets of frequency crystals. One set consists of 2 crystals with the same colour. The crystal
labelled 'T' is for the transmitter (remote control) ; the one labelled R is for the receiver (car):
colour
brown
green
red
yellow
Change the crystals when you experience interference while racing with other cars on a nearby or identical
frequency. To change the crystals, follow these steps:
1. Switch the remote control and the car off (fig.1 #3 + fig.2 #6).
2. Remove the car's battery compartment cover (fig.2 #2) and remove the battery pack.
3. Unplug the original crystals from the remote control and the car (fig.1 #6 + fig.2 #4).
4. Plug a new crystal, labelled T, into the remote control and plug the R-crystal with the same colour into the car.
5. Put the car battery pack back and close the battery compartment.
IMPORTANT!!
• Make sure the crystals in the remote control and the car have the same colour.
• Always replace both crystals. Replacing only one crystal will disable TRCV2 operation.
• Make sure the devices are switched off when replacing the crystals to avoid damage to the crystals.
• Do not moisten the crystals to avoid damage.
