MAINTENANCE
The GMP requires no scheduled maintenance.
System pressure is below set point.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
System isolation valve closed.
System is unplugged.
No power to the system.
Low liquid level in the tank.
Float has stopped the system.
Pressure reducing valve out of adjustment.
Control piggyback float not operating properly.
Defective pressure gauge.
Pump motor failure.
Pump does not prime.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
External check valve or regulator installed
between system and feeder.
Pump is air locked.
Pump cycles continuously.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Air is being removed from the system
and replaced with liquid.
External check valve or regulator installed
between system and feeder.
Control level piggyback float switch is not
stopping the pump.
Leak in system.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Open the system isolation valve.
Plug the system in the wall outlet.
Verify that the wall outlet has power.
Add fluid. Find the source of the leak and repair.
Adjust the PRV.
Verify operation of float.
Ensure that the float moves freely.
Check pressure using another gauge.
Replace defective gauge.
Replace pump.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove the check valve or regulator.
Bleed the supply line.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Allow sufficient time for air removal.
The pump will stop operating when air is removed.
Remove the check valve or regulator.
Ensure that the float is operating properly and
that it is not held in the closed position (floating).
Find source of the leak and repair.
