IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1.
Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
2.
To protect against fire and/or electrical shock, do not put the motor, cord or plug in
water or other liquids.
3.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
This product is not recommended for use by young children.
4.
Unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use, before putting on or removing
parts, and before cleaning.
5.
DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Do not operate if it
malfunctions or is damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination or repair, or send back to company as
stated in this booklet in the warranty.
6.
The appliance manufacturer does not recommend the use of accessory
attachments. This will risk injuries.
7.
Extreme caution must be used when moving this appliance.
8.
DO NOT use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
9.
A unit that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended.
10.
Longer detachable power supply cords can be used if care is exercised in their
use.
11.
Avoid using a metal spatula or other metal cooking instruments on the griddle unit,
as this will damage the griddle surface finish.
12.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled or tripping over a long cord.
13.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
one way.
14.
WARNING: Do not attempt to disassemble the motor of this unit. Electrical shock
or fire may result.
15.
This unit is intended for home and fundraiser use. It is not intended for commercial
application.
