Overheating:
Do not cover vents and heat sink. Doing so may cause the heat to build up in the device.
Ambient temperature
Before switching on the device, be sure that the temperature inside the vehicle is between + 60 ° C and 10 °C.
Cleaning the unit:
Clean regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only.
Do not use other agents than water, they could damage the plastic.
Protecting the USB connector:
• Only a USB storage device can be connected to the USB connector on this unit. The flawless perfor-
mance can not be guaranteed with other USB products. A USB hub is not supported.
• Do not connect a USB storage, which is more than 20 mm wide. Also, avoid using USB memory and
connect the front AUX IN at the same time.
• When a USB device is plugged into the unit, it sticks out and may be a danger while driving. If neces-
sary, use a commercially available USB extension cable, and connect it in a safe way.
• Depending on the connected USB device, the device may not function or some functions may not be
performed.
• The audio file format that can be played on the device, is MP3 / WMA / AAC.
• Artist / song name, etc. can be displayed, however characters may not display correctly.
• Do not touch the terminals with your hand or a piece of metal.
• Do not expose the USB memory to excessive shock.
• Do not bend it, do not take it apart, do not change it and do not immerse it in water.
• Avoid using the following locations: In a place exposed to the car to direct sunlight or high tempera-
tures. At places where the unit high humidity or corrosive substances is present.
• Attach the USB memory to a place where the guidance of the vehicle is not impeded.
• USB memory works at high or low temperatures but the functions may not be accurate.
• Use only certified USB memory. Note that even certified USB memory may may not work correctly
depending on the type or condition.
• The function of the USB memory can not be guaranteed. Use USB memory according to the terms
of use.
• Depending on the settings of the USB memory type, memory state or encoding software, the play
back or display may not be correct.
• A copy-protected file (copyright protection) can not be played.
• It may take some time until playback of the USB memory starts.
• Do not remove the USB device while playback is in progress. Change the source to something other
than USB, or turn the power off and then remove only the USB device to prevent possible damage
to the memory
