CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS

Conversion Instructions for Item #0097709

1. Change grill burner valve orifices
a. Remove the cooking grates, warming rack
and flame tamers.
b. Remove the electrode screws and cotter
pins that hold the burners in place. Set
the screws and pins aside. Remove the
burners from the grill by lifting them up and
out.
c. Use orifice removal tool (B) to remove the
LP orifice from the end of gas valve, then
install the NG orifice (See Fig. 85).

IMPORTANT:

Check that the NG orifice size is 1.44
and ensure the orifice is properly
installed.
d. Reinstall the burners using the 2 screws
and cotter pins previously removed. Repeat
the procedure for each main burner.
e. Position the electrodes so they are 1/4 in.
(6 mm) away from each burner. (Fig. 81)
Side burner conversion:
2. Open the lid and remove the side burner
grate. (Fig. 82)
3. Remove the wing nut and side burner and
hold them in place. (Fig. 83)
