Problem Possible Causes

IMPORTANT: Prior to servicing the Hydronic Heating Kit, shut off the inlet and outlet valves and turn off the power switch
on the Zoneline.
In summer months or anytime the Hydronic Heating Kit is not in use, we suggest that you do the following:
1. Shut off inlet and outlet valves.
2. Drain water from the coils with the drain provided. A standard 3/4" garden hose can be connected to the drain.
To restore service:
1. Open the inlet and outlet valves.
2. Lock the actuator switch in the OPEN position.
3. Bleed air from the two air-bleed ports until no air is trapped in the coils.
4. Unlock the actuator switch to restore to the CLOSED position.
5. Test the operation of the valve by manually engaging the valve and by adjusting the thermostat to call for heat.
Cleaning hydronic coils:
The hydronic heating coils should not require cleaning if proper filtration has been used in the Zoneline product.
However, in the event cleaning is required, use the following procedure as a guide to clean the coils:
1. Remove the Hydronic Heating Kit from the top of the Zoneline and clean the coils from the underside of the kit.
Cleaning can be accomplished by raising the kit high enough to gain access to the coils.
2. If heating the plumbing does not permit easy removal of the kit, remove the Zoneline from the cabinet per standard service
procedures and clean the hydronic heating coil by reaching up through the outlet duct.
