3.) Installing the shafts
Hook in and engage the spring loaded shaft with fitted roller shutter in the consoles as shown
•
(spring loaded shaft at the back).
Hook in and engage the deflection shaft as shown in the illustration
•
4.) Activating the spring loaded shaft
Pulling the roller shut downwards slightly releases the tensioning lock, and the spring tension is
•
released.
The roller shutter rolls onto the spring loaded shaft. Restrain roller shutter somewhat so that it
•
does not wind up too quickly.
The winding up and relaxation of the spring loaded shaft can be blocked using the lock strip at the
•
cabinet side by moving the lock strip to the left or right (approx. 10cm) in the upper area.
For installing the running tracks and subsequent checking whether the roller shutter stops at
•
any position in front of the cabinet, the spring tension must be checked and readjusted if
necessary in the installed condition.
Attention - readjusting the spring tension in the installed condition by pulling off the lock strip and
•
then rotating the spring and the rolled-up roller shutter is described in the following.
Increasing spring tension: (in the installed condition)
Additional revolutions increase the spring tension (rotate the rolled-up roller shutter anticlockwise)
•
to lower roller shutter
Reducing spring tension: (in the installed condition)
Reduce the spring tension (rotate clockwise) to raise the rolled-up roller shutter again.
•
Re-install the lock strip and fix it in position to install the tracks (slide lock strip outwards
•
about 10 cm).
