Operation
The alphanumeric call module with basic programming allows to call the internal numbers of the flats by using the address allocated to each of them during the
configuration.
To use the alphanumeric call module in particularly large building compounds, there is the "internal address" function, which allows to send the call to a flat by
typing three parameters: building number, floor number and flat number. These parameters may be customized by the installer during programming.
Programming
To customize the operation the following must be carried out:
1. Set the call format (no. of digits per building, floor, flat).
2. Enter the call addresses.
3. Associate each call address with the intercom system address (the
one defined with the configuration).
1 - Setting call number format
To change the call number format, one has to access the Programming
mode, as described in the user's manual, and select with the arrow keys
the following menu:
CHANGE
CALL MODE
By selecting with the P key, the following message will be displayed:
CALL FORMAT
00000000
00000000 is the call format with which the device is delivered.
It is possible to go back to the current call mode at any time by typing 8
zeros as call format.
It is possible to customize the call digits as follows:
0 = unused digit
1 = the digit belongs to the building
2 = the digit belongs to the floor
3 = the digit belongs to the flat
Each field (building, floor, flat) may be excluded, and its length may be
programmed.
Examples of customization:
33330000 = only 4 call digits corresponding to the flat number, 4
digits are unused.
11122233 = 3 digits to indicate the building, 3 to indicate the floor,
2 for the flat.
22233000 = 3 digits to indicate the floor, 2 to indicate the flat, 3
digits are unused.
The fields' order (building - floor - flat, 1 - 2 - 3) may not be changed.
2 - Entering call addresses
Select the programming mode and access the CHANGE DIRECTORY as
indicated in the user's manual:
CHANGE
DIRECTORY
By confirming with the P key, you access the mode for entering the
addresses and the following message will be displayed:
CHANGE NAME
EXTENSION NO:
Now, the intercom system address must be entered (the one defined with
the configurators) and the name of the flat (this parameter is optional).
By confirming with the P key, you move to the association between
configured address and call address (building-floor-flat).

3 - Call address/system address association
In this menu, the configured addresses (defined with the system
configuration) are associated with the call addresses that will be used
(relating to building, floor, flat).
Only the fields that have been programmed when setting the call number
are required.
If, for example, the defined format is 11222330, the display will show:
DIAL BUILDING No :
B :_ _
By confirming the building number of the address with the P key, you will
see the following prompt:
DIAL FLOOR No :
F :_ _ _
and the floor number must be entered.
By confirming the floor number of the address with the P key, you will see
the following prompt:
DIAL EXTENS. No :
E :_ _
and the flat number must be entered.
By confirming the flat number of the address with the P key, the whole call
address is confirmed.
Operation
Call mode
The mode depends on the format that has been set during programming.
Still in the example in which the format is 11222330, the initial screen will
display the following prompt:
DIAL BUILDING No :
B :_ _
After having typed the building number, press the key (bell) TO CONFIRM.
you will see the following prompt:
DIAL FLOOR No :
B : 13 P:_ _ _
After having typed the floor number (e.g. 352) and confirmed with the key
(bell), the following prompt will be displayed:
DIAL EXTENS. No :
B : 13 P: 352 I :_ _
Now type the flat number and press the key (bell) to confirm:
B : 13 P: 352 I : 4_
Confirm with the P key, and the following sign will be displayed:
