Connecting to an electric
fence
1 Push a 1 m earth rod fully into firm soil.
2 Connect the green earth lead to the earth terminal (
energizer and then to the earthing system. Ensure there is good
contact.
3 Connect the red fence lead to the fence terminal ( ) of the
energizer and then to the fence. Ensure there is a good connection.
Both leads can be found inside the energizer battery cradle.
