8 Ball Rules
Setup:
Place the balls in the triangle. A striped ball should be in one bottom corner and a solid in the other bottom corner. The eight ball
should be placed in the center of the third row. All other balls can be placed in the triangle randomly. Remove the triangle before
breaking.
Break:
A player chosen at random shoots the cue ball to break. If less than four balls hit the edge of the table, the opponent can
request a re-rack and break themselves.
Play:
The first ball made determines which team is stripes or solids. Turns continue to rotate until all solids or all stripes have scored
or if a foul occurs.
Once a team has scored all of their designated balls they must move on to pocketing the 8 ball. The player to pocket all of their
balls and the 8 ball first wins.
The 8 Ball:
After making all of the player's designated solid or striped balls, the player must pocket the 8 ball. The player must designate
which pocket they are shooting the 8 ball into before taking the shot. If the 8 ball is made into another pocket or outside of the
table that player loses. If a player pockets the 8 ball before their striped or solid balls, it is an automatic loss.
Fouls:
Fouls result in the opponent gaining ownership of the cue ball and can choose to shoot from anywhere on the opposite side of
where the foul was committed. Fouls happen when:
The cue ball is pocketed.
The shooter does not hit any of their own balls with the cue ball.
The cue ball is hit more than one time in a shot.
The shooter knocks a ball off the table.

Inicialización:
Ponga las bolas en el triángulo, con una bola rayada y una bola lisa en los dos rincones de al fondo y con la bola 8 en el centro
de la tercera fila. La colocación de las bolas restantes es al azar. Quite el triángulo antes del saque.
El Saque:
Un jugador elegido al azar tira la bola blanca a las otras bolas para ejecutar el saque. Si menos que cuatro bolas dan con las
bandas el oponente puede pedir que las bolas estén colocadas de nuevo en el triángulo y ejecutar el saque por sí mismo.
El Juego:
La primera bola introducida en una tronera determina el tipo de bola que corresponde a cada jugador (o equipo). Los turnos
alternan hasta se introducen todas las bolas de un tipo o si se comete una falta.
Al introducir todas las bolas que le corresponden (lisas o rayadas) el jugador debe introducir la bola 8. El jugador quien
introduce sus bolas y entonces la bola 8 antes que el otro es el ganador.
La Bola 8:
Después de introducir todas sus bolas (lisas or rayadas), le jugador debe introducir la bola 8. Este debe indicar cual tronera es
el objetivo antes que tirar. Si la bola 8 se introduce en otra tronera o se sale de la mesa, el tirador pierde el juego. Del mismo
modo, si se introduce la bola 8 antes que las bolas que le corresponden el tirador pierde el juego.
Faltas:
Faltas transfieren la posesión de la bola blanca al contrincante quien puede tirar desde dondequiera en el opuesto de lo de la
falta. Faltas ocurren cuando:
- se introduce la bala blanca
- el tirador deja de dar con la bala blanca con ninguna bola que le corresponde
- la bala blanca se golpea mas que una vez en una tira
- la bala blanca se sale de la mesa
