Preparing for use

4.1

Transport and storage

Please note the following points regarding the transportation of the acoustic board:
Check the packaging for damage if you have ordered it through a transportation services provi-
ƒ
der.
Report any damage during shipment to the transportation services provider and to the retailer
from whom you purchased the acoustic board.
Two people should carry the acoustic boards of 120 cm and upwards in length, or 5.5 kg and
ƒ
upwards in weight. If necessary, use a trolley to transport the board.
During transport and when storing the product, do not knock, drop or otherwise apply force to
ƒ
it. This can damage the acoustic board.
During transport, do not expose the acoustic board to moisture or extreme temperatures, e.g.
ƒ
frost or heat.
Please note the following when storing the acoustic board:
Store the acoustic board in its original packaging for as long as possible.
ƒ
If you no longer have the original packaging, keep the acoustic board covered during storage.
Store the acoustic board in a dry, enclosed space to protect it from moisture, direct sunlight,
ƒ
dust and dirt.
