DESCRIPTION: Knee orthosis, elastic with condylar pads and joints, with or without patellar control, prefabricated. The orthosis contains rigid metal
stays or stabilizers to support the weakened body member. The orthosis has two (2) chambers that fill from the distal upward toward the proximal
end of the extremity.
1. Remove optional gel pack and place in freezer for a minimum of
1 hour.
NOTE: Each time the gel wrap thaws, refreeze for 1 hour.
2. Remove the adjustable hinges from the inside of the brace.
Secure these hinges back down to the brace in a location that
will allow the condyle pads to rest securely on the inside and
outside of the knee.
NOTE: For smaller knees, these hinges will be located closer to the
center, for larger knees these hinges will be located closer to the edges.
3. Remove gel pack from freezer and secure to the inside of the
brace making sure to not place it over the condyle pads.
4. Place a protective barrier between the gel pack and the skin. A

cloth sleeve is included in your package. Any thin cloth barrier
will be effective. Place the brace over the knee and secure the
two straps around the knee to achieve a snug fit.
5. Refer to the QuickStart Guide or Instructions for Use included in
the Triple Play VT packaging for instructions on operating the
unit with orthotic wrap.
7. Once the pressure is reached, you may choose to hold the
pressure by closing the valve on the connector by turning the
valve lever perpendicular (or 90˚) to the hose line. If desired,
the hose can be disconnected from the wrap by twisting the
disconnect valve connector to the left.

OPTIONAL HAND BULB
Your product is provided with an optional hand bulb
which can be used to inflate/deflate the wrap in the
absence of the Triple Play VT unit. If you desire, you may
use scissors to cut the tubing just below the insertion
into the wrap. Then place the barbed connector on the
bulb into the tubing connected to the wrap.
